WELL MOM/ WELL BABY PROGRAM
We provide home healthcare services for newborns and their Moms. The Well Mother, Well Baby Program is an education and outreach initiative preparing new moms of all ages to the path for a healthy recovery. Our aim is to empower our new mom’s to develop healthy behaviors, make their own positive choices, and be the best parent they can be. We assist over 1000 new moms a year! We have a nurse on call 24 hours a day to answer questions. We visit new moms and their newborns 7 days a week.

- Improved self-esteem for mother and child
- Enhanced health and wellness knowledge and behaviors

Skilled Services Include:
- Post Delivery Blood Pressure monitoring
- Arranging pediatrician follow up appointments
- Assessment of Fundus, Breast, Abdominal Incisions, and Lochia
- Newborn Assessment, weight, head circumference, umbilical cord, stools, intake, etc.
- Assessment for home safety and management
- Assessment for Post-Partum Depression
- Assessment of pain
- Lab Draws for Bilirubin Levels with results same day to physician
